I've not been in the mood recently to take a daily photo. Having done this for well over a hundred days, I know that experiencing a lack of enthusiasm sometimes is part and parcel of this project. So much so that this evening I have just taken a photo of the very keyboard I'm currently typing on.

I took this image with my flash, which is why the keys seem to have lit up towards the end of the keyboard, an effect I quite like considering the mundane subject matter. In post-processing I increased the clarity and the contrast.

I'm sure I'll snap out of this lull. I have before, and I will again. Sometimes life just gets in the way and I feel that I haven't got the time to do my project justice, but that's okay. I'm almost a third of the way through this, so I'm not going to give up now!

Canon EOS 450D, f/2.8, 1/60, ISO-400
I like the blur of the keys. I'm sure you just need something interesting to catch your eye and you'll ignite that spark once more.

Yep... Know that feeling... Hence the number of river/sunset shots I tend to take... This is good though for an 'off day'...

'Snap out of this lull' - great pun! Know the feeling well, kinda like that right now too. Perhaps its the moon?!

Keep up the momentum. Trust me I am on over 200+ days and have hit it so many times that I was moments away from dropping it altogether. Lack of creativity, Lack of drive, lack of desire. It really weighs you down; however I know you hit the gym so brush it off and keep with it. You are one of the photogs I look forward to seeing your pictures no matter how drab you might think they are.

I like Jeff's advice!

Jeff said it best. Just keep plugging along and you'll get some more inspiration. Every day cannot be your best shot ever. I also really enjoying loggin on and seeing what you have captured every day.

i like the effect that the flash had, as well :)
i think we all get that feeling - i'm not even at 90 and there have been days when i have been tempted to just miss a day - get it over with and tell myself, "so you've missed a day, the world is not at its end."
