I've just spent a couple of wasted hours in IKEA. That place is a drag - and such bland furniture! I didn't even buy anything. I got back pretty late after an exhausting evening, and as I watched Suman tying up her hair I liked what I saw. So, I grabbed the camera and asked her to do a few poses for me.
In post-processing I converted my shots to black and white, increased the contrast and decreased the clarity - as I did for yesterday's photos.
I think today's image is pretty ironic. After yesterday's laughs over my self-portraits, today's photo is one of Suman! She preferred a couple of the other shots that I did and I liked them too, but felt that technically this was the better photo. I will try to do the shots Suman liked again some time in the future, but better.

This is a great shot, very expressive and I love the B&W.
I hate ikea too, but let me give you a suggestion- play hide and go seek or manhunt in it.
Best thing you'll ever do.
Did it this summer after I got back from my trip when my friends mom needed to go furniture shopping, it was the most fun/ridiculous thing I've ever taken part in.
but definitely something to add to a bucket list.
this is lovely! every girl (with long hair) will find familiarity in this shot...I'm always pulling my hair up, twisting it around, and letting it down!
I like you Vik, but can't even compute hatred if Ikea. Didn't think that was possible. Living there yes, but not hating it. Beyond that, what a dreamy photo. So soft and feminine. Love it.
And I love ikea! xD
