I've done so little today. I woke up late and watched TV all afternoon. It must have drizzled overnight, because there was those nice raindrops on the grass in the back garden, as well as on a few fallen leaves. I took a small branch of leaves into the house to take a few macro shots.
Again, I used the reverse macro technique with my 50mm lens. I took quite a few shots of these leaves, and again I vacillated between my photos. In case you're interested, here are the rest of my images ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/).
My brother and my cousin are staying round this evening. We haven't spent time together for ages. We used to all the time when we were younger, so it should be good to catch up and act like the young prats we used to be!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

really really cool shot Vik. The fuzzy edges really emphasize the water in the middle too. Enjoy the rest of your week off. I'll be away for a while, catch you at the end of Oct!
Wow!!! This is really cool!! I love the colors! Perfect title too, because the lines really do look like little arteries carrying life into the leaf! Great shot!
