I bought a new flash today! I bought Canon's 430EX II and I can't wait to use it. I bought it from a shop in town before going to the cinema to catch a film. I had a couple of minutes in between, so I took a few quick photos.
This is Market Street, the road that leads to the Theatre Royal, Nottingham's premier theatre. As you can see, in post-processing I converted it to black and white; other than that I did little else to tweak it. I just love using my ultra-wide angle lens!
I'm going to use my flash tomorrow night for the first time. I'm planning on going to the Goose Fair with Suman and her sisters, the biggest and most famous annual fair in the Midlands. Should be fun!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

That's the flash I have and I just love it! Just really starting to fiddle with the manual settings.
The B&W was definitely a good choice, although I would love to see this in colour.
Nonetheless, this is a great capture!
Love this shot! Great perspective/vanishing point, and the black and white really brings out the streetscape.
