At last, a beautiful sunset this evening! I had a feeling it would be, as it was a nice clear blue sky this afternoon. I checked out when the sunset was due today (4.24pm), met up with a couple of friends and then rushed to the Attenborough Nature Reserve. I was a little disappointed as got there at sunset instead of a little earlier because of the traffic, but I still took almost 100 shots of the view.
It was difficult selecting my favourite photo of the day as the sunset was lovely, with its golden tones and reflection on the pond, but I narrowed it down to the few that had foreground interest. I've uploaded some of the others to my Flickr page ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/).
Hopefully the weather will be the same tomorrow. I've mentioned before that I want to visit Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan mansion fairly nearby. I'd like to do an autumnal shoot before all the leaves fall away.

I missed this the first time around. Amazing shot Vik. I love your framing with those posts in the forground, and the reflection of the sky on the water is great.
Wow. Amazing view and reflection. And your other pics are all amazing to. I think my favorite one is the nb. 2 , I love that big boulder on the foreground, and the perspective.
