Well, I've reached the half-way point! 183 days; the exact middle of this project. From now on I'm counting down! I've learnt so much over the past six months, spent about a grand on equipment and I feel I've got much better. To mark today I wanted to capture a photo of me with my camera, as I've used it almost every day for six months.
Hopefully by the end of this project I'll be using a new body and a new lens! For this photo I simply pointed the camera at my hallway mirror, and after focusing I set my camera to live view and composed as well as I could. In post-processing I increased the exposure to give it these light tones.
Recently I've been listening to a lot of Jamiroquai. The band released a new album earlier this month so I've been going through their back catalogue, something I often do when an artist or band I like release new material. Here's one of my favourite songs of theirs that I dedicate to my other half, and because I'm half-way through this project. Enjoy...
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
