My Internet connection isn't working at home. It's so frustrating not having access to the World Wide Web when you're used to using it every day! Because of this I didn't get the chance to post my daily photo like I usually do in the evening, and I'm having to do this at work on the following day. I was looking forward to posting the photos I took of the local country park at lunchtime, as the scenery was unlike any shoot I've done there before.
I made sure I didn't make the same error as Sunday's shoot by keeping my aperture fairly narrow and more of the detail in focus. I took loads of photos I was happy with as the scenery was just lovely. This actually wasn't my favourite photo of the day (it was one of the others I posted on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vikdaddy/), but the general consensus in the office is that this is the best of the bunch.
The weather is much the same today as it was on Monday. If I wasn't so busy I'd have probably popped out to the same park to get more photos, despite only having my compact S90 with me. However I don't think this cold snap is going to shift any time soon, so I'm sure I'll get plenty of opportunities over the coming weeks.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Fabulous shot and processing. I have to get a wide angle lens for my 7D, haven't done much landscape shooting for lack of one. Hope to see some more great shots before the weather turns.
Very nice picture and processing. :)
