I woke up after midday today and I felt like wasting the afternoon. I just wanted to stay at home and do nothing, but I mustered up the will to go to the gym and do a shoot in the dense fog beforehand.
This was taken at the Forest Recreation Ground, a park that I've done a few shoots at before. Like yesterday I cropped the photo because there was a small tree to the left, but I felt it distracted from what I was trying to emphasise, which is the size of this tree in comparison to the couple.
Apparently the fog isn't going to subside for a couple more days. I want to go to a cemetery again and do a shoot, using the mist to create a spooky atmosphere. I'll give it a go tomorrow.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

I think the cemetary shoot would work well as this has an ominous feel about it as it is - the fog, combined with the black and white processing works really well here :)
I agree - that tree is huge ... love the scale given with the couple beside it ...
very beautiful:) I love all the foggy shots, but this one is amazing:) I like how the tree is clearly outlined, but the rest is swallowed by the mist:) great job, a fav!
This is one of the best black and whites I have ever seen and iv looked at black and white pictures for ages online all the time haha
Great Job!
