I fell asleep on the sofa last night. That, in conjunction with a hangover, meant I didn't sleep particularly well. Achy and groggy, I still woke up at a reasonable time and went to the gym, did a bit of shopping and caught a film at the cinema. I got back pretty late, and with so little time left for a shot I looked around for inspiration. Watching Suman on the PC gave me my idea for a photo.
Taken with my 50mm f/1.8 lens, the narrow depth of focus made Suman's delicate fingers a little more interesting than if it was all sharp, in my opinion.
We've been looking through some of my photos to put up in our home. Considering the breadth of work I've created over the past nine months or so, I really should print some of my shots. Thing is, I can't help but look back and think "I could have taken this better" or "I could have processed that better"; I'm quite proud of a few of my photos but perhaps overly critical of most!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Nice capture! We do sometimes feel regrets about how we processed or how we shot our past photos and say to ourselves that we could have done better. And sometimes if we redo the photo, yeah. It may appear aethetically better than the previous but something was lost perhaps, the spontaneity, the moment. The photos you had was the best at that moment.
I think you SHOULD print some of your pictures.....you can rotate them....no need to pick 10 and be inflexible. Some of these are too good to be left on a computer database!
Really cool shot!
