A delicate Paper Kite butterfly pauses for nectar among orange berries, its translucent wings catching the morning light like stained glass in a natural cathedral.
Using Macro and taking photos of animals is quite new for me (thus, i put this image as entry for the January monthly challenge).
hi, Vincent. hope you are well. i am doing a series of butterfly paintings. this photo of yours has inspired me. while i do have numerous photos of this butterfly, i really love the orange berries. may i please have permission to paint this? the paintings will not be for sale but i am saving them for an exhibition in the future. also, i always make sure to mention at the back the inspiration for my paintings and you can be sure that your name will be acknowledged in the painting if and when it is used in an exhibit. thank you so much in advance.
i may not be commenting much on here, but i do admire quite a number of photographers here including your work.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm very pleased that my photo inspired you. Of course, you have my permission to use it for your painting—I’d love to see how it turns out!
Wishing you all the best with your butterfly series and future exhibition.
