Day 149 - Blackness Castle

Headed out to Blackness Castle today - and what an incredible ruin. Built in the 15th century by the Crichtons (my grandfather was a Crichton) - and more recently was one of the settings for Outlander (TV Series). I liked the way this one turned out - this is the main window in the Great Hall.
Love the light. Fav

I love the mood of this shot - so dark and gloomy leading to the outburst of light, fav.

I am sure this was a difficult one to shoot. It is magnificent. The expanse of black really draws the eye into the window.

@bluerose15 @quietpurplehaze @sketch2 @365projectorgjenfurj @olenadole @stephanies @mona65 @helenhall You are all so, so kind. Trying to work out lighting is a challenge as I have no flash, and I'm still trying to link all the settings in my brain! I'm so thrilled you like this shot.
