88/365 - What the sea spits out

Some beach debris along the shores of the River Clyde. The general amount of litter washed ashore is just appalling and quite frightful. We are not doing too well as custodians of this planet of ours.
Good grief.......you'd have thought someone would have missed that wouldn't you.....

According to greenpeace "Right now an estimated 12.7 million tonnes of plastic – everything from plastic bottles and bags to microbeads – end up in our oceans each year. That’s a truck load of rubbish a minute".

@cutekitty @gamelee @chris17 @helenhall @littleconnie Coming home today I couldn't help but notice the absolutely ridiculous amount of rubbish that is tossed out of cars and vans. Our countryside has become one big skip. Something needs to be done!
