Some of you may remember that back on the 22nd Oct I looked after a dog whilst it owner went in the shop.
Well today I took myself on a lovely walk looking for autumnal scenes. I passed this dog and wondered where the owner was but no owner to be seen so I walked back just beyond this point and saw a woman with this dog and 2 others. Thinking that it was her dog I was surprised when she asked me if I was this dog’s owner. The dog was wearing a tag so I was able to contact the owner. Apparently this chap is called Buddy and had run off 3 hours earlier. I was able to arrange a place to meet the owner and reunite him with buddy. Poor buddy looked a bit bedraggled and had blood on his head but no obvious signs of injury. He is 4 years old an he’s just started to wander. I am not sure if he in dog years is now a teenager!!
Well, to my knowledge, at 4, this must be a young man already.
Buddy was fortunate to meet you. And this shot is so nice: that's a stunned doggo. Handsome and eager.
Hooray for you, the doggy hero! Wonderful rescue story!
And a great photo! I wish all pet owners would keep identifying tags on their animals! Microchips are also great but they are only helpful if the owner keeps the information current and they must be scanned to identify the animals.
