@jacqbb It was so cold and took me hours after I got home to warm up - and that was under a blanket. Also, this is right next to a Nuclear Power Plant. I left it out to make it look like I had gone way up north in Canada - when in reality this was closer to the big city than I actually live.
@madeinnl After I returned home and imported this into Lightroom I was very pleased with the amazing sky. When I took it I actually didn't see it like this. I guess it was but my glasses transition to sunglasses and this always impacts my ability to see things. I shot this with my 17-40mm, a lens I don't typically use much. Makes me wonder why I don't.
@shannejw Thanks. I think I really lucked out on this one. I used a pretty wide angle lens. Everyone was looking at me when I laid down on the ice to take the shot - I think they thought I was crazy. I had more foreground in the image - I took it out with the crop as I didn't think it helped the image.
