Ed turned 3 today & he had a Lightning McQueen birthday. We had lunch at a local park with close friends & family. As we were left home to go, Ed said " I am happy mum, it's my birthday" and with that I said "Happy Birthday, Ed!" He told me that Lightning McQueen & Mater were coming and Mater's mum too. Tall order but he was overwelmed by the presents and cake to notice that they didn't turn up. His big sisters & brother all came to celebrate, it was lovely to have them together. Happy days

I've looked through the past couple of months of your project and you've taken some absolutely stunning photos! I've found it really hard to think of a good challenge for you because you already seem to have a really good variety of different pictures: nature, macro, people etc. However, one thing I noticed is that most of your pictures are taken outside in daylight, so I challenge you to take some nighttime shots/indoor shots using artificial lighting. How does that sound?

I have had a try at a lot of things since I started this project, I am finding out what all the buttons are for on my camera & have learnt a great deal from this place, Thanks for the push of indoor shots, I hate using my built in flash so this will be good for me to learn how to use it properly
