love you and miss you by wenbow

love you and miss you

An ode to mother

what do we learn from another
is it generosity
opening the door, letting people in
is it creativity
story-telling with every brushstroke
is it tolerance
no matter what the little devils have done
is it possibility
riding that gee-gee home past the post
is it originality
wearing socks with an open toed shoe
is it gratification
bringing laughter placing a pantyhose over one's head
is it charity
stitching pieces together, a sock to darn
is it spontaneity
dancing a jig , yodeling a tune
is it communication
understanding sentences being subject askew
what do we learn from another

wonderful portrait of your mother.
