Winter Robin. by wendyfrost

Winter Robin.

I thought I would start the new year with a robin and I added the snow to give it a January feeling.
Happy New Year to all my friends on 365 and I hope it is a better one for you all.
Yesterday New Years Eve was the beginning of my 8th year here I haven't been posting so frequently these last few years due to caring for my husband and not getting out with my camera .This year is going to be very much the same as now I am waiting for a knee replacement and unable to walk more than a few steps and time outside is in a wheelchair. I will still post when I get photo opportunities and manage to get around to set up a still life which I love doing. Keep safe in 2021 my friends .
Thank you for all your kind and caring comments and Favs over the year and for getting me on the PP. and TP. it is always very much appreciated.
This is a beautiful shot and you have framed it so beautifully. I often had you in my thoughts as you still go through firsts without your hubby and with all your own mobility issues. You are so brave and so artistic. I always love your photos and from my little corner of England, I am cheering you on. I hope you get your new knee before too long. Sending you lots of love and very best wishes xx

@casablanca Thank you for your very kind comments I am pleased to get Christmas over it has been hard the worst day being Micks birthday. My family have been here for me and helped me get through.I do like to be on my own and they have respected that as well but it is still lovely to see them and lighten my mood when they pop in.Hope you have had a lovely Christmas and wishing you and all your family a happy 2021.

Congratulations on beginning year #9! I hope your knee replacement comes soon. I know what you're going through! Now that both of mine have been repaired I feel so much better. I still have some issues in my back and hip from the times I was rear-ended but I am far more mobile than I have been in the last 10 years. A robin always speaks to me of Spring- a very hopeful time, so it is my hope that 2021 will be a fulfilling and good year for you- both in your health and with your camera!
