As I am wobbly on my legs and using walking sticks to get about in the house I did not go out in the snow in case I slipped. This was taken from my open patio door and the North Pole was placed on a light fitting just outside.
Beautiful idea and light , yes much safer to stay indoors during this treacherous weather than find yourself in the A&E with a broken leg - stay safe my friend !
I am very careful with the snow too- even after my surgery. I think you were wise to make the situation work for you and the picture came out just fine! Good shot.
