My Photo for camera club. - Reproduce a famous painting with your camera.
As I don't get out so much nowadays I decided to do a still life with some silk sunflowers I have had for years. I was quite pleased with the outcome and enjoyed the challenge.
ps. My name is Denise, Wendy is my middle name which everyone calls me by..
Beautiful, and really clever, Wendy! The sunflowers are striking, and I really like the layers you have created for the background at the bottom as well! Fav
Hi Wendy! It's lovely to see you popping up and faving my photos as a sweet "hello." I hope your recovery is going well. I know you can't type yet to write comments, but I just wanted you to know that I am happy to see you! xo
@casablanca Thank-you Cass. I am starting to feel a little stronger now and having physio.this is my forth week so hopefully only 2 more to go. Hope you are both keeping well.
Glad to see from your comments that you are starting to feel better and having physio, which will help physically and as a distraction. Two weeks sound great, hopefully you will be home in no time. Take care.
Thank you, Wendy for your visits/comments/favs, especially under the circumstances, very much appreciated.
Thank you for all your kind messages my 365 friends I am still in care for a few more weeks unfortunately my humerous is not healing as fast as it should be which is holding back walking as I have only have one usable leg and one usable arm. I have been having physio with help from the bars etc very difficult to bear weight on my knee.I think the next two weeks will be more intense to get me moving and stronger. I will be glad to get home again but the thought worries me how I am going to manage. Hope you are all keeping well.XX@
@wendyfrost Keep returning to a positive mindset whenever it worries you and frightens you. You should be more healed than you are now by the time you go home, so you will not be facing it as you are now. Keep working with them and things should improve. Healing is not always linear and sometimes it takes longer than anticipated, but keep going, keep your hopes up. You'll be in my prayers, dear one. Sending much love xxx
@wendyfrost Dear Wendy! I just found your message today (July 28) (I don't know how I missed it), but I have been thinking of you every day. I hope your healing is moving along (Casa has said it best) and I hope the physio is helping and not too difficult to do. Thinking of you and sending a great big hug (on your good side :-) xo
@ziggy77@casablanca Thank you for your kind messages. Still struggling to get about safely and having carers popping in twice a day to check on me.I can't believe I have been like this for 3 months now.
@wendyfrost Glad you have carers popping in. It's reassuring to know if you have any issues, it is not long til someone will be coming. Continuing to wish you stronger again, dear one. Keep going. You are doing so well, it's just taking time. Much much love
@wendyfrost sorry to hear you are still struggling, good you have carers twice a day keeping an eye on you. Are you still having your physio? The body does take longer to heal as we get older. Please take care, hope you will start to see an improvement soon.
I'm so sorry to hear of your difficulty in getting about. It's so kind of you to keep popping up to comment on my photos. I do wish you all the best and hope you will soon be on the mend.
