Woodland Sunflower – Helianthus divaricatus L.

"To see the world in a grain of sand, and to see heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hands, and eternity in an hour."

~ William Blake

I’m pretty sure I’ve accurately identified these pretty wildflowers, but please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. Mr. Canon and I shared a lovefest with them in the early morning light. More to come.
