One of my students is doing an alternative end of the year reading assessment. It's due tomorrow and she finished the last piece at 2:11 this afternoon. It was grueling for both of us. I celebrated with a pop tart. She's celebrating by not coming to my room tomorrow.
Note: the sprout I took a picture of last night was completely gone this morning! Eaten by a deer who left his tracks in the mud. I know, it's "the circle of life" . . . but . . . sigh.
