But happy really to be part of the grand Luminara procession in Lucca.
Behind is the "Volto Santo" (Holy Face), a wooden crucifix all done up and brought out of the Church of San Martino on the occasion of this festival, held every year on the 13th of September. The relic has been the object of many a pilgrimage since the 11th Century.
