I guess I don't really understand the purpose in the padlocks. I agree with @30pics4jackiesdiamond, they seem like vandalism. I like the look of the family and the singleton. Hope they are not having a standoff of some sort. It seems a serious conversation.

Fav. Beautiful street shot. Who knows how many of those padlocks are still in place, or just memories of the past. Seems that this idea has captured the frenzy of the young generation all over the world.

A lovely candid shot - fav! I really find the locks thing annoying, and it can cause damage to whatever all the locks are attached to, although it will have boosted the profits of lock sellers and makers!

The padlock thing sort of started years ago on the Pont des Arts bridge over the river Seine in Paris. One section of the railings collapsed under the weight of the padlocks!!!
