My husband & I went into the city today for the first time in ages. I was amazed at how much it has changed & how much I didn't recognise!! So I went into full tourist mode, but unfortunately I didn't take my camera with me so out came my iPhone :)
We went to the Perth Mint, then had lunch at a little curry house on Hay Street (yummm). After lunch we headed off to the Western Australian Museum where they had an AC/DC exhibition happening. It really was a great day & I was happy to see that the old town hall hadn't changed though many of the buildings around it had. It has inspired me to get back in there, this time with my camera in hand :)
@elke It's such a tempting shot, I'm not surprised you have taken the same one & I would imagine that the building would still look exactly the same on the outside...the inside has probably changed though. As for the rest of Perth I'd agree that it's changed alot in the 10 years since you have been here, not only in the city, but in the suburbs as well. How long were you here for? Did you venture outside the city at all?
