@ianrm you must have stronger nerve than me. Thank you for coming back for the second serve.

This is really striking. I love the very sharp contrast and the way you made it look scary -- or at least ambiguous.

We don't know this is a cemetery - but the silhouette brings that into mind! Oooooheee!

This is a beautiful abstract, fascinating image. The black shapes are mysterious (to me anyway) and the glow amidst the grey sets it shining.
Love it, Yao and so glad it's on the trending page, too!

Fantastic silhouettes and mood!

Interesting shot. I think the figure on the right has his hair standing on end in fear.

love the interaction between the shapes, so unusual

great contrasts in this. I LOVE walking in a cemetery. It gives me peace....and serenity. I like to think of all the people and their lives....that are now over, which is sad. But I guess that is life and we will end up like that too.

@kathiecb Your imagination is really good! LOL! Great shot, Yao! The lighting is superb and the b&w suits it perfectly!

Cemeteries can go either way- sometimes peaceful, sometimes scary. It probably depends on the time of day and the weather. Come to think of it, a rainy day would also make them depressing under the right emotional circumstances. But you made it through- and at least the sun appears to be in this shot.

Is that the silhouette of a pohutakawa flower? It looks like there's a halo around it.
