Joy 5

I love gardening. I planted two kumara plants today. I am looking forward eating the leaves, the recent research claims that kumara leaves are rich in vitamin B6, C, and almost 10 times more riboflavin than actual sweet potatoes.
Really? Is this like the leaves that come up out of the ground like potatoes?

That is right, my freind told me that it is very yummy. @maggiemae

That's interesting to know - they sure produce lots of leaves, so won't miss a few! Love your image - even the gloves look exhausted after a big day in the garden!

such a creative capture. i, too, love gardening but find i have to hide my plants in a room out back and grow them under lights if i want them to survive because my two siamese cats like to eat them. they really enjoy aloe.

Nicely composed shot, and now I have to Google kumara. I wonder if they grow around here too.
