WTH just happened? Maximum Security, the best horse of the bunch, came across the finish line first and was disqualified for jumping a puddle??? It was a sloppy mess and 19 horses and their jockeys were running in the rain. I think it was the wrong call and apparently so do lots of other people. The decision is being appealed. The Churchill Downs PR department has a big job ahead of them. Right now the sport of horse racing doesn't look so good.
