Becca & Jon Are Married

To choose one photo from the most joyful day was going to be too hard. Instead I selected seven of my favorite things about Becca and Jon's wedding:

1) They had the most beautiful flowers all over the natural venue, the Gardens at Ray Eden. In back of the actual ceremony they had a vine arch with flowers in deep pinks, reds, magentas and purples hanging straight down. After the ceremony the arch was moved behind them at their seats at the table.

2) Becca wore her hair up around a wreath of roses and berries. Her something borrowed were my diamond earrings made from my Grandmothers’ engagement rings.

3) She designed white-on-white signage and had the florist put a floral topper on them. The largest blush-colored roses I had ever seen.

4) She took hankies saved from her two great-grandmothers and hand-embroidered her table numbers with garden flowers. It was a way to intertwine her past with her future. I liked having my Grandmothers at their wedding.

5) They had four, long tables with gauze runners and napkins they hand-dyed. They made candles from flower petals collected over the past year and had vases in different shapes and sizes filled with different flowers as their centerpieces.

6) I loved working on all the print materials and graphic details with Becca over the past year. It gave me a chance to work with my niece first hand and see what a talent she is. Besides the Save the Date cards and invitations we made menus, gift bag brochures, tags, stickers, seat numbers and fans they put on each chair. We were lucky the weather broke. It was a pleasant 84º for the day.

7) And even though I usually don't include people in my 365 posts I had to include their wedding photo. She looked like a princess and the whole thing was like a dream.

Wishing them all the best for a life filled with nothing but love and happiness. ❤️ It's so exciting having a new nephew.
