Our last full day in North Carolina was spent visiting. First was a brunch in honor of the Bar Mitzvah boy at his house. Then, we went over cousin Allison's and her hubby Jeff's house to see how cool it is. She's the President and an owner of Spoonflower, a company that does on-demand printing of fabric, wallpaper and home goods. Her whole house was filled with things from Spoonflower. I especially love what she did with the steps. SO CUTE!!
Next, we visited a friend of Ande's from high school he's only seen once in the last 44 years. We took a short drive to Cary, NC and visited him at his house. I had never met him before but he seemed to be the kind of guy we'd be friends with. We were sorry we didn't get to meet his wife. She was out of town visiting their two-week old grandson.
We rounded out the day visiting cousin Sally's condo after dinner. It is so cool seeing where everyone lives. You get a real insight into their soul when you can see their stuff.
Family is THE BEST. I'm really going to miss everyone.
