I finally did a little baking again and it was SO FUN!! Our friends Rick and Terry came over for dinner and I baked a blueberry pie. This is the pre-baked version.
I decorated the top with cut-out dough flowers. It was just like being in pottery class. Same principle as working with clay. You use a little egg white for the slip to make the flowers stick to the dough. Glaze the top with a mixture of heavy whipping cream and egg. Then sprinkle with sugar.
