Driftwood and tracks

Taken on Sunday at sunset beach before the sunset. No photos today as I spent a good part of the day at the hairdressers. I've had a steely grey look put on, not dissimilar tones to the colour of the sand in this picture. I think it looks quite on trend. My husband described me, as having a blue rinse!
Great composition. Fav
Enjoy your new hair !

Just a lovely, artistic shot. Love the colors and composition. Suggests to me a wounded lion. Mane and all. Fav.

Nicely done, the lack of detail in the background draws attention to the weird details of the driftwood. Don't be too hard on Mr.G - at least he noticed that your hairstyle had changed.

@mbrutus I can see the sounded lion too! A great image and your new hair colour sounds lovely.I have grey tones too… all natural! The kids at school laugh when they look at my hair and match up the Mrs Whitehead name!

That is a cool piece of driftwood. Framed in well by the dunes and other driftwood. No doubt what the focus point is. That Lion! Great shot.

@dide That sounds hysterical. My very first teacher's name was Mrs. Greenwall. Wouldn't you know that in those days the school rooms were painted a drab institutional green. And who do you think was the first one kind and clever enough to point that fact out to her? Still remember my very first classroom wisecrack.

@yorkshirekiwi Funny how that works.

Totally looks like a full-maned lion lying on its back!

Yes, I thought at first it was two animals fighting. Clever picking the spot so that all the tracks lead to the driftwood.

Nice photo, - maybe there needs to be a self portrait too after a day at the hairdressers!
