This Hawk. Torments me. I see it, perhaps 2 or 3 times a day, circling over our paddock. Today he came as close as I've ever seen him, but as usual, I'm not quick enough, or I have the wrong lens on. He particularly stood out today against the rain clouds. No doubt this running battle will continue.

Still a nice shot seeing it in its environment. I normally get some good shots of the red kites near me but this year theve eluded me. I might try again tomorrow :)
So nice against the dark clouds. We have hawks drop in regularly to eat our white pigeons and I am still trying to capture photos of them. I did get one once when our dog chased it and it landed in the lake by accident. It got itself out but couldn't fly until it dried out! I got within a metre of it and got some great pics.
