Harlequin by yorkshirekiwi

Harlequin

Last year we almost had a plague of these harlequin ladybirds. Fortunately not as many around this year, as they were killing off our native ladybirds. I actually spotted this while out looking for round things for another project
I didn't know what they were callef. It is good that there are fewer this year.

Nice to know what they're called - had just seen a few last year.

Are they bigger than the usual ladybird? Looks so pretty but they must be allowed to kill off the native ones which are so beneficial in the garden!
