Just realised I have a gap in my calendar. This is my 85 year old father-in-law, showing off his new limb! Unfortunately he had an aneurysm on a flight from Singapore to the UK, and was lucky to survive at all. After 3 operations in a week, he ended up having to have an amputation. 3 months on, and he is doing brilliantly with his new limb. He is determined to fly back to NZ for a visit in January. We're very proud of him
Such a great picture and moving story. My dad died of an aneurysm, so it is extremely refreshing to learn of some one who survived as the statistics are not high. So pleased that your father in law seems to have adapted well to his new limb quite well. I'd be proud too!
