Christmas Degustation by yorkshirekiwi

Christmas Degustation

Went the Butcher's Shop cafe for dinner last night, to celebrate both mine and my friend Richard's birthday's next week. The usual degustation menu has been replaced by Christmas fare. It was very nice!
The Butcher's Egg Nog
Ham, Maple, Agria Gnocchi, Cranberry, Balsamic glaze.
Turkey, Bread stuffing, Asparagus salad, Hazelnuts
Beef Wellington, Beans, Potato gratin, Port Wine Jus
Decadent chocolate log, Mixed berries, marscapone
And of course a couple of good bottles of wine. And yes we did sit with our paper hats on!
Is this the same Butchers Shop Cafe in my neck of the woods? certainly different menu than what I had for lunch the other day ... sounds amazing ..
