Bronze Sculpture

A life-size Bronze sculpture depicting a Maori warrior holding a 'Raiha and striking the ground from which water
gushed and subsequently naming the area 'Waihi Hi', 'Gushing Water'. Hence the name of the town 'Waihi'.
