I particularly like the light too. It is quite crisp, especially since the background seems to be subject to a fair amount of haze. You have caught the circumstance and the mood quite nicely.

Great "sort of street" shot. In Huntington Beach here they actually have a dog surfing competition, complemented by dogs who ride skateboards. I'm going to have to get up there and get some shots to share with my fellow 365 friends.
