I'm a cat person, not a dog one. However I do have a soft spot for the german shepherd. My neighbour owned one when I was a little girl. Her name was Shandy and I loved her to bits. Then later in life I got bitten by one, as I thought they would all be like Shandy. I've been a bit of scared of them since. Until I met this boy. He's lovely and a licker not a biter.

A beautiful portrait. Fav. It reminds me of my first dog who was a rather large Belgium/German Shepherd. He was so sweet and a big baby but that didn't stop people from crossing the street when they saw us coming towards them. :)
