Today I went to the Vintage Day Out, where people dress up and look very glamorous. This is my 3rd year, but my first year of signing up for the photo safari. You were assigned a model then left to photograph them in various assigned areas. Well out of my comfort zone! Felt completely intimidated with the photographers there with their light umbrellas and stands etc. Lighting in the hall was rubbish too. Oh well, hopefully I will improve

It all depends if the models stay very still for a good photo! It didn't look like that here - lots of talking but they are standing still! What fun - I would like to be a model and wear these dresses!
Wonderful capture of these vintage girls, Carole ...such fabulous outfits right down to petticoats, the stole, hat, gloves etc.! I would be intimidated too, but if you've got a "good eye" I think that's what matters most!
