We have a huge oak tree at the bottom of the garden, late evening's full of birds flitting around, getting ready for the night. You would think that in winter when there are no leaves, I'd be able to get some kind of shot. The one I've ended up with isn't even in the bare tree, but it's probably the best one. Even so, I still manage to get an out of focus branch in the foreground
Your caption made me smile. We have an oak too. I’m sure it’s cold enough but our oak refuses to drop it’s leaves! Great job catching a sparrow at rest, always flitting about at top speed :)
