Barter Bookshop

Today we travelled to Alnwick in Northumberland, where we are staying for a week. We stopped off at Ayton, and visited the graveyard there, where I managed to find my grand father, and great grand fathers grave. In Alnwick we spent a lot of time browsing books. It's one of the biggest second hand book shops in the UK. Housed in the old Grand Victorian station.

Oh my kind of shop. I would be in there for ages. We have a fabulous second hand bookshop in Newcastle and my theory is you can't leave until you buy at least 3 books, ha ha.
