Half Past Wish by yorkshirekiwi

Half Past Wish

Fifteen layers of focus, one fleeting moment of stillness. This half dandelion clock glows in vibrant green against the dark — a quiet reminder that even as seeds drift away, beauty remains in what’s left behind. With its burst of luminous green seed heads, it almost feels like nature’s own fireworks — fitting for Guy Fawkes night, when sparks fill the sky in celebration. A focus stack of 15 images blended for depth and delicate detail.
Bravo. Best on black! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Beautifully captured detail. Did you do this inside? I can't help thinking that trying to capture 15 images outside, would have been a nightmare with the slightest puff of wind moving things around.

@gardencat yes I did, spring is notoriously windy in NZ, although it was still enough for me to get on and do some weed spraying. I photographed it in front of my monitor to get the black background
