We are in the middle of our dry season and the rains won't arrive until the end of October. Everything that was lush and green several months ago is now golden brown. This was an orange flower ( http://365project.org/zambianlass/365/2013-02-16). Look at it now.

That's a wonderful photo. I love the feel of it. It's a long wait for the dry season to finish for you. Do you get any rain normally before the wet season returns?
