Saw these fireworks exploding in the distance beyond the tall trees, so quickly went out on the patio, glad nobody could see me trying to set up in the dark, took quite a few and felt quite baffled as to why I had no images, (senior moment) had a circular filter on my lens, 1st attempt at fireworks.
Great first attempt! I am guessing that from the broad lines you used a large aperture. Next time try f/8 or f/11, ISO 100 and a shutter speed from 2-8 seconds. With the smaller aperture, the lines will be thinner and you'll see a lot more detail.
