I'm doing a Crochet Along project, am now on week three of a square blanket. The new skills for this week are doing tulip stitch and to read a diagramatic pattern as well as text.
My get pushed challenge from Annie was to make an image of paper, but how to do that as a half and half? Well, I did it this way!
Thought I'd also shoehorn in for the song challenge too! A song I remember my parents singing every spring when they saw tulips!!! Might as well do six word story too?
Pocketful of joy today - a glorious Pass The Pigs/Pigmania session, chatted for 20 minutes before first pig was tossed! Love those PigGang ladies ( oh and no cat puke today!)

This is very pretty. It inspires me. Currently making what in my imagination should be dragon wings in the form of a shawl. Crocheting is better than any doctor prescribed medication for those moments when stress tries to dim ones light. 💛
@kametty I only learned to crochet just before Christmas, it's all gobbledegook which is why this six week project is so good. @gardencat this panel was easiest and quickest so far @joansmor I'm pleased with it @photohoot I have got stressed and flung it down!! @merrelyn thanks, I'm following pattern to the letter ( except for mistakes of course!) @narayani I'm chuffed! @grammyn I'm enjoying this new hobby, when you make a mistake, only one stitch to pick up!! @briaan many thanks @365anne I'm so glad I went to the classes. BUT crochet does seem limited to toys, shawls, blankets and a few garments! There's a limit to number of blankets to put in the van!!
