They'll open, be vibrant for half a day and fade to pinky/white over two days. BUT they do survive on wholesale neglect next to the helebores.
To add to my finger injury on Thursday, acute back pain since yesterday, today I closed the car boot onto my head. A kind lady who was passing was most concerned and caring, as she heard the crunch. The car was unharmed.
Pocketful of joy today - I have an ecstatic baby brother as Ipswich Town FC promoted to Premier League today.

The colors are lovely together. Things come in threes, so hopefully the accidents are over for awhile (although the back wasn't exactly an accident).
