Aurora

What a treat to see this on my doorstep. White whips spiralling down and the sky a pale red and green. Red sky to naked eye is apparently very rare.
Neighbours' 'phones took amazing photos, mine didn't, but got out the big camera, balanced it on a dustbin and exposed for 6 seconds.

How exciting. David has just mentioned that the southern hemisphere will be able to see the aurora Australis at the moment too, only problem is it will be pouring with rain and cloudy for the next few days. .

Thank you all so much for enjoying my happiness with this fabulous phenomenon. I'm lucky to have seen them before in Norway, but to see rare red aurora from my doorstep was amazing.
