When the morning walk yielded pretty poor Goose and Gander photos, I returned home and headed out to the Grapefruit tree; I thought it would be fun to make the ordinary look more picturesque. I'd hoped the guava would be pinker inside, but the last of them are on the trees for the season, so I made do with what we have.
As I write, the photo is now recorded history and the juice was delicious!
Guave is a tropical fruit that, personally I love! I fill the Cuisenart and blend the heck out of it, put it through a sieve to remove the bazillion little seeds, and blend it optionally with strawberries, bananas, orange juice, (frozen) mango, etc, to make wonderful smoothies. We have three trees that are filled from Oct thru Feb.
Yes, thank you for sharing this wonderful still-life with us here in our little sun-starved corner of the world (the midwest.) This looks healthy and fresh!! Ahhhhhhhh!
