Today was Easter Sunday and also granddaughter #2's 3rd birthday. As she hasn't been well, and the official party was a couple of days ago, we just called in to see the family for a short time to drop off her present.
We realised late in the day that we hadn't taken any photos yet. John @nzkites had noticed there was a fairground set up in the local park. We didn't have any children with us so waited until closing time to have a wander around. I was especially taken with the colourful horses on this old-fashioned merry-go-round. Each one was named.
I mentioned in a previous photo,that the free editing programme I've been using to border my photos has been giving some issues with softness. For some reason it didn't seem to affect this one.
