The back of the church. The front was encompassed by a huge tree and was practically hidden from view.
That little room with the outside steps - I don't know much about churches, but that would probably be a priest’s office or something like that? I would've loved to see what the original entrance looked like - the modern door and plain concrete steps don't quite gel with the age and history of the rest of the building.
I love the stonework of this church. The arrangement of the oblong cornerstones is a real work of art. It was built in 1888, for English soldiers who were staying in nearby barracks.
